Disclaimer
The short version: Contract Radar explains public government postings in plain words. It is a reading aid, not advice, not a bidding service, and not a promise of work.
Not the official record
Every job shown here comes from the US government's public SAM.gov files. Agencies write the postings, and agencies change them — deadlines move, jobs get cancelled, details get corrected. The official posting on SAM.gov is the only version that counts. Always open it and read it in full before you spend time or money on a bid.
No guarantee of results
Winning government work depends on your prices, your papers, your past work, and the agency's choice. We cannot and do not guarantee that you will win any job, or that any job shown is one you qualify for — including set-aside jobs, where the agency makes the final call on who qualifies.
Plain words, honestly built
Our one-sentence summaries are written from the posting's title, agency, work type and place — the fields the government publishes in its nightly file. They are a starting point to help you decide what to read, not a summary of the full requirements, which live in documents attached to the official posting.
Registration is separate
To actually bid on most federal jobs, your business must be registered in SAM.gov (free, but it takes time). Contract Radar does not register you, and having an account here does not make you eligible to bid.
